Hello friends!
I know I missed "Blog Post Friday" last week, and I'm SO SORRY! It's been a busy few months for me, and I wanted to give you a quick update on what I've been up to lately. I want to keep you guys in the loop, so let's grab a coffee and chat!
First and foremost, I'm thrilled to share that I've recently become a member of a local homeschooling board. It's been an eye-opening experience to work with my fellow board members to plan a new venture for my local community! We want to ensure our children receive a quality education, and keep God at the focus of education.
Next, if you've read my homepage, you know I'm a high school English teacher. With this comes great responsibility. The end of the school year is always hectic, and this year is no exception. I'm currently working hard to help my senior students graduate and prepare for their next journey outside of high school!
Again, as a high school teacher, prom season is upon us, and I'm excited and a little stressed as I'm required to chaperone. But seeing my students dressed up and enjoying their time makes it all worth it. Getting to get all dressed up and dance a little on the sidelines is a little bit of a plus, too!
In addition to teaching, I'm also building my business, hence this blog, this website, and all the other things that are involved in building a business (LOL). As you already know, it's a tough job, but I'm committed to helping my clients achieve their goals.
Recently, I wrapped up a big website design project that challenged me in all the right ways. It was an excellent opportunity to flex my creative muscles and deliver a quality product. It took up most of my time outside teaching though, so I've neglected the building aspect of my business just a bit (oops).
Along with all these responsibilities, I'm also working hard to keep up with my OWN content planning and strategy. This is a tough job, even for someone who IS a content strategist.
Last but most definitely not least, I'm also a mom to a toddler and a clingy dog. It's not always easy juggling everything, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
